Promosi Batik and Tenun 2009

I went to the handcraft event at Cawangan Perlis, Kuala Perlis, Malaysia. Because i'm in the field trip to the Arts and Craft centre yesterday. They are offer all sort of handcraft. There presented some unique handcraft from many culture. From clothes, painting, vase and other thing from clay, and some woven.

I saw a lot of things artistic handcraft. There some batik, dress, painting, children games such as congkak and gasing.

And there show how to make a woven, clay, batik, and play congkak and gasing.
My friend could play congkak, their name are Aan and Fakri. So they played congkak when we went there, but i just saw because i didn't understand about that game.

Then i took many pictures from this event. The show, the dress, the clay, and other handcraft i took them pictures. And i took the picture about my friend played the congkak, the woman who showed to make the woven, the man showed the gasing game and the man showed how to make a batik with that print.

After walking around and took the pictures, i heard the host explained some introduction about these handcraft and how to make it. And then i was taught by them how to make handcraft. It was paper clay. I was taught to make that paper clay into the keychain.

Finally we went back to the KWSP, when we study now. The most interesting form that place i can saw many handcraft from many culture and i can learn ho to make it and how to play it. But i feel very happy when i got a free lunch after that.

Because i want to tell about my new friend
Since i studied in University Malaysia Perlis i have a lot of friend from another and my own country
There are many kind of their character, funny, smart, nicely, ignorant, quiet, etc.
I like them very much.
About the title i also want to tell it. It from my country television program Opera Van Java. Opera Van Java is a Comedy and joking program.
In Opera Van Java, there is a comedian. His name is Sule.
He is a very funny man. And he likes to say Prikitiw, and till now i dont understand what the meaning of that.
So me and my friend from Indonesia teach friends which from another country to say that if we meet, hoho..
But i add some word before prikitiw, it is yoo man.

So it's the story about saying yoo man prikitiw to my friend, hoho..
Because of that i miss the program, Opera Van Java, hoho...

Indonesia is a beautiful place
there are many culture in Indonesia..
and it food is so delicious..
I loved Indonesia at all....
